I'm very disappointed with how AMD is handling the rewards program.


My friend bought an RX 580 from Newegg, but he doesn't play FPS games, so he gifted me the Quake Champions code.

I have read the terms and conditions and there is nothing in there about gifting:


I provided exactly what was asked, yet now they are demanding the hardware receipt, which was never requested:


"If your AMD Unique ID or Unique Coupon Code was sent electronically:

  • Full, non-cropped image of your receipt (print screen or send the original email as attachment) with AMD Unique ID or Unique Coupon Code visible"


This is exactly what was asked and I complied 100%, so I don't see why they are causing more needless hassle.
When I bought an nVidia card, with free game, I was installing the game within minutes. I am actually planning to build a new computer next month, and I was planning to purchase a Ryzen 7 1700X. However, because they are treating their customers like criminals, forcing them to jump through endless hoops, I will now consider Intel instead, because I don't feel right supporting AMD, unless this matter is resolved appropriately (according to their own terms and requests).
I have already provided everything that was asked and met the requests. Now please fulfill the deal.
