I bought a a Treadripper 1950x and instead received a Ryzen 3 1200 in a Treadripper sealed box. Have this happened to anyone here?

I dont know what to do, I went back to the retailer and they agreed to ship me a new 1950x, which is fine. Regardless I feel cheated. The box was completely sealed and not tempered with. I know the ryzen 3 is much smaller than the 1950x so I should had noticed before opening the box. I believed the cpu were swap at the factory or something. I was wondering if this is a normal occurrence.

This is my first AMD build in over 10 years and I was very excited about the 1950x, but the true is that now I have reason to believe AMD have terrible quality control if they allow this kind of behavior or do not have the quality check before shipping this $1000.00 CPUs to the retailers. I repeat The BOX was Completely sealed and closed.
