4.10 is the earliest Linux kernel which supports Ryzen multithreading
But the upcoming 4.14 will have secure memory encryption capability with EPYC processors, though I'm guessing you're not at that level of enterprise.
Oracle have backported hardware support in their linux in the past, but I haven't been able to find any mention of Zen/17h in their documentation.
Now curiously, Suse claimed "limited Zen support" way back in SLE 11SP4 - I don't know what that means.
I will probably have to wait for Suse Leap 15, due out next year
