Problem with TV after installing AMD drivers.

Question asked by jachu138 on Sep 1, 2017

I bought R7 370 2GB GPU and connected it to Sharp LC-22LE430E with HDMI cable. It was good when i had previously installed Windows drivers. After installing AMD drivers image overscaled over TV display and made terrible picture quality on display. When i have installed AMD drivers i can choose only Wide picture format and changing between 4:3 and 16:9 dont make any difference. When i have Windows drivers i can choose between 4:3, 16:9 and multiple picture format. Of course i can use HDMI scaling but it make my picture worse than before. I was trying multiple resolutions. I was using same tv on previous GPU (GTX460) and everything was fine. I checked HDMI cable on another device. When i connect tv with vga - DVI-I to graphic card everything is fine but i use this port for second analog monitor. On windows driver tv info show "1920x1080@60HZ" on amd driver tv info show "1080p HD". I was trying multiple HDTV modes from Catalyst. I was trying driver from 2015 for my graphic card from MSI official website. I am using Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB x64 and installed Windows 7 Pro x64 to check on new system and had that same problem.
