CPU 1 COR OVER DCACHE L2 DRD error

    arpit

      Hi

I've got a home assembled AMD system for NAS purposes.

I've tried FreeNAS as well as NAS4free operating systems. But I get the same error:

"CPU 1 COR OVER DCACHE L2 DRD error"

On searching for this error a bit, I came to know that one of the possible errors is the faulty processor.

      System Configuration:

      Processor -  AMD Vishera FX-9590 8-Core 4.7GHz Socket AM3+ Desktop Processor

      Motherboard - GIGABYTE 990FX-GAMING G1 MOTHERBOARD AM3+

      RAM - 2 x 8GB

      Hard Disk - 4 x 4TB

      OS - FreeNAS/NAS4free

Any help regarding this would be appreciated.

      Thanks.

However, though I share this question, my system is FreeNAS running on a Skylake i7 from Intel, so I'm fairly certain that this issue not just relegated to AMD CPU's. I'm thinking it's more to do with the interaction between the CPU and RAM. I'm going to upgrade my RAM to 64GB of EEC (when I can afford it) and see if that resolves this error.
