I have some "G.SKILL Ripjaws V DDR4 3600" memory but Ryzen Master won't go past 3200Mhz. I checked the SPD and it shows 3600. Does anyone know why I am stuck at 3200?
I am not trying to overclock my memory. I just want it to run at its rated speed.
What motherboard and BIOS do you have? In most cases it is the motherboard's BIOS version that limits the RAM clocks on Ryzen.
Asrock x370 Taichi - BIOS 3.00
In this case, the motherboard is not limiting the RAM clock speed. I select 3600 from the BIOS and it runs with 100% stability. The BIOS lets me select up to 4000.
I would just overclock from the BIOS and not use Ryzen Master but I have run into the 15.5x multiplier (1550Mhz clock speed) bug when using the BIOS. I can run memory at 3600 but the CPU runs at 1550Mhz.
I was hoping to just use Ryzen Master to overclock but now I can't get the memory to run at its rated speed of 3600.
3200Mhz is the max supported at the moment.
