Nvidia cards work better on Autodesk software. and on things like high end renderers too. dont bother with Firepro or radeon Pro cards. or even Nvidia Quadro. they support and updates to thier certification on 3d softwars gives minimal performance boosts if any. The Nvidia 1050 may be something to look into.
I have used a AMD firepro W8100 for 3ds max and the performance is terrible for rendering. It does help out with some stuff in Adobe software but you will get a bigger bang for your buck if you just stick to the gaming cards too. The gaming cards are benchmarked to work as good or even better at times. You will feel cheated if you get a "professional" card. there is a reason AMD dropped support for the Firepro cards. Now they have the Radeon Pro cards.
