Randomly flickering black screen - RX 480 4GB

Hey, I really hope someone can give me a hand. I’m having a lot of trouble with this problem.

My monitor randomly flashes black for about a half a second-a second. This ‘flicker’ looks almost like when you change resolutions or something. There is a link below to a YouTube video. This person is having the same issue that I am, but this video is not me, so the setup may be different.

The flicker happens more often when I launch a game (specifically Gigantic as of lately), but it does occur occasionally when I am in a browser or OBS studio. Also, when I am physically playing a match of the game, the flicker ceases. To be clear, I have yet to witness a flicker when I am mid-game; I only see it in menus.

I have tried to clean uninstall the current driver and re install it, but that did not work. I have also tried installing an older driver, but this didn’t work either. I have not yet tried a different monitor or a different GPU, but the issue has occurred when I tried an HDMI connection.

When I play my Nintendo switch or my PlayStation through the same monitor I have no issues.

I hope someone can give me a hand!
