It's been a while since the release of BF1. Does anyone know if Crossfire is working with DX12? I have 2x R9 290
It is not working for me, and the option to disable crossfire (which allows the program to run and not crash on my system) has also been removed. R9 295x2 here.
It is in the CTW version of the game, but I don't believe the normal version supports DX12 MGPU just yet.
I don't have the CTW version appearing in the AMD Predefined profile. I don't know why. Also, AMD control panel doesn't load the game icon under Gaming menu. it's just blank.
You won't DX12 MGPU is controlled soley by the developer, no AMD CrossFire profiles for DX12/Vulkan.
Good news! If you don't already know, DICE/EA have included DX12 MGPU support in the last patch! I'm off to give it a try right now.
Edit: Oh my. So smooth, so awesome. I can finally enjoy this game with everything cranked at 5760x1080. Averaging around 82fps with spikes into the low hundreds and dips down to 68. Though as I played longer the dips became less and less.
This resolution... Are you able to have Eyefinity?
As long as I am on Anniversary Update of Windows 10 I can finally do both after 17.7.2.
Also it seems DICE finally fixed whatever was up with their post-processing on BF1, can finally turn it back to ultra.
How to report Windows 10 bugs to Microsoft?
It's been reported to MS, there is also a massive thread here in the AMD forums about it. It looks like it is a driver side issue from the sounds of it, amd Matt says it's being worked on.
Have you tried the new drivers? Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.8.2 Release Notes
For what? DX12 MGPU works fine with this game now. If you're talking about the issue with Creators Update, then you can read about it on that thread. I do not want to derail this one.
