My system crashes more often than I am used to with my previous FX-8320 rig. Crashes occur at random. So far, I saw crashes from situations like: Idle, watching videos, light gaming workload, heavy gaming, video rendering, etc.
Tried the usual steps, different PSU, different RAM, etc. Still crashes at some point.
Side note: I have allready RMAed the mobo before because it stopped initialising PCIe devices . Before that, I went through all the usual debugging steps (different PSU, transplant GPU to working rig/working GPU to dead rig, unplug all the not crucial components, different RAM/different RAM configs, etc.)
Ryzen 7 1700X (no OC)
Corsair Vengance LPX 3200 2x8GB @ 2133 MHz, 16-18-18-36
Sapphire R9 Fury (no OC)
ASRock X370 Fatality Gaming K4
Seasonic M12ii 750W
The last crah had Radeon settings appologize at me "Default settings have been restored due to unexpected system power failure" which reminded me of the time before the previous mobo died to unknown cause. I am a bit worried now as I need my rig to function properly. Else I will have to put my 860k or 8320 back into action...
Have you checked the windows crash logs for clues? I use bluescreenview-x64 to view the dump files. Windows doesn't always write them but occasionally something can be found
