Whenever I launch more than one client I get this notification from Windows. As I play the game(silkroad online) the computer randomly freezes for a few seconds then black screen shows up. Once the black screen is gone, I receive the access blocked notification from Windows and one of the clients crash -prompting an error message. I checked the Windows event log to see what was going on and and I saw this: "amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered". Everytime a crash occurs, this message is logged to the event log.
This is the error that pops up.
Things I've tried:
-Removing GPU drivers via DDU and reinstalling the latest ones.
-Underclocking the GPU
-Running as administrator, changing compatibility to Windows 7.
-Disabling Windows Defender.
-Rolling back to the old drivers.
None of the above helped. I also tried running the game with the integrated GPU and it worked just fine, launched multiple clients, no crashes at all.
My specs are:
Windows 10 home
Sapphire Nitro RX 480 8gb
Antec HCG-620 PSU
MSI-z170m mortar mobo
No overclocks on cpu or gpu. Temperatures are fine. Silkroad Online is the only game that causes this problem. I don't have any problems on other games.
I'm at a loss here. I've been all over the internet but haven't found any solutions.
