    PCI-E passthrough virtualized FirePro V3900

I am attempting to virtualize a Windows (7/8/10) workstation for a few specific tasks which don't justify a dual-boot system.

In doing so I've grabbed a FirePro V3900 since it has a UEFI bios.

I'm trying to run this on Proxmox (a Debian variant that serves to run KVM) which is installed on a Dell R710.

On Windows 8 and 10, when I attempt to install the driver, the hypervisor segfaults and requires a reboot.

So I have a few questions.

Does anyone know if the V3900 can be successfully passed through via PCI-E in ANY hypervisor?

      Can the V3900 function in a PCI-E x8 slot?

Has anyone done something to this effect with KVM before and would be willing to share their config?
