I have been experiencing BSOD when playing PUBG. The error code that is shown is 0x50 that refers to a page fault in non-paged area..what this means is that a game process memory address is referencing another memory address that does not exists. In some cases, it has said that the memory refers to the location 0xFFFFFFFFF, which I do not think that could be in use. This has been happening a lot, but it is not always. I was able to check the memory.dmp file that my computer created and found that the driver causing this issue is an AMD driver, referencing the process RadeonSettings.exe. I tried rolling back the driver from Crimson 17.7.1 to 17.4.4 I believe, and nothing.
Here are my computer specs:
MoBo: MSI Z270 SLI PLUS
CPU: Intel Core i5-7600k @ 3.8Ghz~Turbo boosted to 4.2Ghz
RAM:Corsair Vengeance LPX C14 8GB DDR4 2400Mhz
GPU: SAPPHIRE RX 580 Nitro+ OC 8GB
Drives: SSD WD Green 240GB SATA III (Here is the game located)
HDD WD BLUE 1TB
NOTE: This error only happens with this game. This GPU has not being manually overclocked or used for mining.
Please try updating to Crimson 17.7.2.
