the "sticker" sounds like an old BIOS version? You may want to check on the Asus ROG forum and/or the Asus website for an updated BIOS. Check with the motherboard's manual on the proper installation of the cabling for the LED light.

I went through the same thing back on Tuesday with a Ryzen 5 1400, brand new MSI B350 PRO-VDH board, I found out from the instructions for the board besides putting the ram stick into another slot which did the trick which slots are for standard use to having all 4 slots filled. Check the motherboard manual to make sure your stick(s) are installed in the proper slots cause that may do the trick.
