My Smartscore program (scans sheet music and creates digital music) has run flawlessly on Win 10 and AMD processors in the past. However on my Ryzen 7 1800x/ASUS C6H system, it aborts when handling a score of more than 10 pages. Through trial and error I found that if I disable SMT the program runs correctly. However if I just set its processor affinity in Win 10 to one hardware CPU (which should be similar to turning off SMT), it aborts as well. This is the only program that doesn't work properly on this system which has been operational for three months.
Does anyone know of anything else I could try to run this program with SMT enabled?
