Hi I have an Asus A88xm plus motherboard & an AMD A10 5800k processor. I am looking to upgrade my graphics with a separate card. Can anyone suggest a good card to go with my package. Thanks Mack.
I would recommend any of the RX-550's up to RX-580's which are compatible with the the A10 5800B and 5800K.
"Medium gaming" to me is running around 1080p at low to medium quality settings - An RX-570 or 580 may be hard to find in stock anywhere, at least for another month or 2.
This really depends on your budget, what you would like to use this for, your power supply capacity, and of course availability. As long as you pick a graphics card that can be powered by your power supply and as long it (graphics card) supports a legacy BIOS, you'll be good to go.
I would look into the Radeon line of cards if you can find one and read the posted power supply requirements (every listing should have it). Here's a good start through AMD's website: Graphic CardsSearch Results
Good luck and let us know what you end up going with!
I was hoping for a bit more detail on which graphic card was compatible with my processor. I can quite easily change my psu if needed. I don't need top of the range graphics card, just one for medium gaming use. Thanks again Mack.
