I'm having a strange issue with my Sapphire Nitro+ RX480 8GB. I always have HWInfo64 monitoring my temps on the background, and I noticed that sometimes the "GPU Memory errors" counter is registering some memory errors!
Since then I've been trying to reproduce this errors but it's completely random. I can run heaven benchmark or other benchmarks for hours, or even games without a single GPU Memory Error, but then, sometimes, I start to get some memory errors (like 1 each 2 minutes) when playing games or running a benchmark. It's completely random and it only happens when it wants.
For example, today I played Rainbow Six for 20 minutes and I got 8 memory errors. I closed the game and opened heaven benchmark, did 2 runs and got 1 error.
I contacted Sapphire support, but as always, they are useless and they don't know how this "gpu memory errors" counter works on AMD cards.
Is this normal for a 8 months old GPU?
P.S: I don't have any OC applied to the GPU, and I don't use any OC software like Trixx or Afterburner.
