So I built a Ryzen system recently,
Asus Prime B350 Plus, Ryzen 5 1600 and Corsair 3200 mhrz RaM,
After getting everything installed, including Display drivers for my RX470 I read that I should download and install the latest chipset. So I did, this set also included the Ryzen power plan.
So I ran it and installed it, but I can't tell that they were really installed, if I go to Device Manager, and open "processors" and pick of the listed Ryzen 5 1600 processors and go to properties and drivers, it reads Microsoft 2009 drivers.
Now if I go down to the System Devices tab, and open it I get of list of things like AMD GPIO Controller, ACPI fixed feature button, AMD PCI and those have current AMD drivers.
BTW, the Ryzen Power plan is there and I'm using it, I guess I'm just a bit OCD about the Chipset drivers, like I'd like to see them there.
What do you think?
The drivers are installed correctly, if they weren't you would receive a message telling you so.
You should now be using the Ryzen Balanced Power Profile, you can check the Windows Power profiles to see if you are.
