Got the computer a few months ago from cyberpower. Didn't realize the monitor has been plugged into the mobo this entire time. A few days ago the monitor started losing connection after the BIOS screen. Tried plugging the monitor into the rx480 and it worked fine last night. This morning I tried to start up and my motherboard shows the vga led. The card's fan is spinning and if I switch to the onboard graphics the BIOS shows the amd card in the pci slot. Any help on how to get the computer to boot would be appreciated!
If you want to use just the Rx 480 card (I would recommend that anyway) , you can disable it or set a preferred choice in the BIOS. The manual doesn't really cover it, except that there's a "Graphics Card" tab (see page Chapter 3 page 3-24). If you can't figure this out, I'd call Cyberpower - they're extremely helpful folks (at least from my experience with them) - they should be able to walk you through this.
Good luck!
