You sure your memory is running stable at its overclock setting?
I'm not sure
how do I make sure that memory is stable?
Select Sensor only
Wait for the sensor display to comes up
Run GTA V until it crashes
Bring up the HWiNFO64 sensor screen
Under CPU [#0]: AMD Ryzen 7 1700
Check Maximum for "CPU (Tdie)"
I just ran GTA V for 15 minutes. The Maximum for "CPU (Tdie)" I got was 62.4C. Your temperature should be less than that because I am overclocking my 1700X from 3.4GHz to 4.0GHz. As long as your temperature stays bellow 80C under load you should not have a problem with crashing.
If the temps are fine then I would look at speed of your RAM. If you are running your RAM at a speed higher than 2133MHz try running it at 2133MHz to see if your system is more stable. For example my RAM is rated at 2667MHz but I have to run it at 2133MHz because it is unstable at higher speeds.
I tried to run a stress test and it was crashing after just a few mints
the problem was from the bios
I picked asus optimized option for performance eriler
I reset the bios to default settings and overclocked the cpu to 3.8, I run the stress tet again for an hour and everything woks fine without crashes
