    AMD Radeon HD 8650G + HD 8670M Grapgics Driver Problems


      I`ve got HP Pavilion with AMD Radeon HD 8650G + HD 8670M Grapgics. The problem is that I can`t install graphics/video drivers. AMD autodetection program aslo doesn`t help. It says that can not devect video card. Your suggestions?

            The last driver for the 8650G variant was 16.2.1. The card has reached legacy status and isn't going to be updated. I feel your pain, my laptop has the 8650G with the 8970M and I am stuck with no DX12 games, even though my 8970 supports them.



            You can install the latest driver, and then manually change the 8650G driver to the one in the 16.2.1 package. The payoff is very minimal though.
