Monitor: Asus MG279Q monitor (Freesync)

Motherboard: ASRock Z170 Extreme6+

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K, 4400 MHz (44 x 100)

RAM: 32 GB  (4x8GB DDR4-2133)

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 14393)

DirectX Version: DirectX 12

Crimson Relive 17.5.1

After 17.3.3 something major was changed by AMD (what?) that causes, among other things, full-screen lag with freesync in many applications, the worst affected seems to be Firefox. It also crashes Adobe products, especially and most consistently Lightroom. The only solution to all of these issues is to disable affected programs from using GPU hardware acceleration.

This is a very unfortunate and serious turn of events and makes my computer considerably less convenient to use. I rarely complain, but this has been going on now for more than a month and, coupled with many as of yet unsolved issues (e.g. missing Display tab in Crimson with and without HDMI, too many ReLive issues to mention) and unwillingness to implement/bring back color corrections and more, really makes me lose faith in ADM's driver development.
