Check with ASUS to see of they have an updated BIOS for the CPU you are using, then clear the CMOS.
Use the BIOS to check the CPU temperatures.
So after some research I've figured out that my CPU requires an BIOS-update, from ver. 0403 to 1603. But when i try to read the CAP-file in BIOS, it says: "Selected file is not a proper BIOS!".
I downloaded the file from here: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/MAXIMUS%20VI%20FORMULA/HelpDesk_Download/
What am i doing wrong?
I followed these instructions: How to update Asus Motherboard bios from USB Drive ( Asus Maximus Vii Ranger) - YouTube
It's not going to work because that BIOS is not for your computer.
You need to talk to ASUS's customer Service department and see if they have an updated BIOS for your computer (ROG-G20BM).
You need to let them know that you have swapped out the CPU for a non standard model.
I've only seen the insides of one of those computers once and I think it uses and OEM motherboard built just for it, so I think that it is also using a very specific OEM BIOS for the motherboard.
