    Crashes with the latest drivers for Radeon HD 7700

      Hello,

      Since a recent update of the drivers for this graphic card, the rendering engine (Ogre) that we use in a software I'm developing does not work anymore. The application crashes always and immediately when trying to render the first frame. The Windows Event Log gives me the following error:

      Framework Version: v4.0.30319

      Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.

      Exception Info: System.AccessViolationException

         at <Module>.Ogre.Root.createRenderWindow(Ogre.Root*, std.basic_string<char,std::char_traits<char>,std::allocator<char> >*, UInt32, UInt32, Boolean, std.map<std::basic_string<char,std::char_traits<char>,std::allocator<char> >,std::basic_string<char,std::char_traits<char>,std::allocator<char> >,std::less<std::basic_string<char,std::char_traits<char>,std::allocator<char> > >,Ogre::STLAllocator<std::pair<std::basic_string<char,std::char_traits<char>,std::allocator<char> > const ,std::basic_string<char,std::char_traits<char>,std::allocator<char> > >,Ogre::CategorisedAllocPolicy<0> > >*)

      When I revert back to a previous version, such as this one: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous/detail?os=Windows%207%20-%2064&rev=16.12.2, it works again.

      Thank you for your support,

      Dany
