Your Radeon Settings version is out of date, did you clock Clean Install when you installed 17.4.4?
Usually I do clean install. Maybe the difference is due to running 17.10 after 17.4 so will try again.
That is. Think I may just use high power for now and only deal with one AMD driver since the audio driver for the MB (Realtek) is also acting up.
How did you uninstall your drivers? Did you run the AMD Uninstaller found in Add/Remove programs, or did you use DDU?
I have always used the clean install option from the driver installer. Next update I will try DDU since I've probably done 6 updates since I got the 480.
The same trouble. After 17.10 chipset driver my system broke 17.4.4 install - write error 1603 or 1610.
After AMD clean and DDU pronblem ins't fix.
