radeon hd 6450 extend display causes blank screen on second display

Good Morning!  I have an Radeon HD 6450 card which I am trying to expand the display.  I have a monitor connected to the VGA and a Seiki television with HDMI port connected to the HDMI of the video card.  My operating system is Windows 10.  Both displays are identified and work fine in duplicate but when I try to expand the display the television goes into unsupported mode.  I'm at a loss as I searched for answers and tried changing resolutions with no success -- same result for every selected resolution.

      Software Version: 16.2.1

CPU Type: Intel Core 2 Quad

When you extend the displays, try adjusting the resolution/refresh rate of the second display that goes blank using the 1st display. Perhaps that will bring it back to life.
