I've had a RX480 (RX-480P8DBA6) from XFX which I upgraded from an Asus GTX760 DC2OC card last year. Since I've switched to RX480, I'm having this weird issue.
I've used a muti-socket extension plug from the wall power socket to power my whole PC setup. (2 monitors, the System Unit and the Printer). so, whenever I flipped the switch that the printer is connected to, my RX480 crashes and my PC has hanged. I've tried putting back my GTX760, the issues does not happen. I've already replaced the multi-socket extension but the problem didn't go away.
can anyone help me with this weird issue?
I would recommend you keep the PC on a separate outlet, not on an extension cord.
