I would try using a different display port cable and an older driver version.
that's what i did already. i've read somewhere that he needed to use an nvidia gpu in the other pcie slot to set the refresh rate to 144hz then plug the display port back to the amd gpu.. ahaha it's kinda funny, nvidia to the rescue.. i'll borrow my brother's gpu on my day-off and post an update if it works
So i tried installing a 750ti on the second pcie slot, downloaded the necessary drivers then plugged it in, in the settings, it let me set the monitor to 144hz with the same cable that came with the monitor. However, when i took out the cable from the 750ti then plugged it to my r9 fury, it then became limited to a 100hz. Cant find any 144hz option in the all list mode of the display adapter settings.
Amd's additional settings wont let me manually set the refresh rate to 144hz even though it says that the reportable max refresh rate of the monitor is 144hz
I setup both cards in my pc. only the 750ti let me set the monitor to 144hz
I've a similar case, it's a fresh buy, and however there's option for 119,120,144hz it fails and just blinking if I set it.
Screen is in custom (game), DP1.2 enabled, freesync on.
Tried 6 DP cables, also dedicated premium 1.2 cables.
Is there any news about your case?
