Update to 17.4.2 breaks OpenGL Game Rage

I updated to Win 10 Creators Edition and then from 17.4.1 to 17.4.2. Since that point, Rage, which is an older OpenGL game will not start. Here is the Event Viewer info. Seems like it's an OpenGL module issue. It worked fine in 17.4.1 and a few earlier drivers. Since I did the Win10 update to Creators and then the AMD driver update during the day, I couldn't pin this conclusively on one of the other. so I uninstalled both updates, the game worked fine again. Then I only did the AMD update and it's failing with the same error. This is an older game and I haven't tested any other OpenGL games, but I think that there must be sum bug in this version. I'm going back to 17.4.1 for now.
