Hello everyone,

I have a Lenovo z5170 laptop with dual graphics card(radeon r9 m375x 4b and Intel hd 5500).

Few months ago, after updating radeon graphic driver from amd's official site, laptop started bsod upon restarting and would continue doing so until I uninstalled the amd drivers in safe window.

I downloaded old drivers from lenovo's site but the bsods started again.I tried downloading updated drivers from amd site.It didn't bsod this time but games wouldnt run at all until I uninstalled amd drivers again.I always use amd cleanup utility before reinstalling drivers.I have been relying on hd 5500 for now.

Laptop specs :

  • Window 10 64 bit operating system
  • Intel i5 5200 CPU @ 2.2GHz
  • 8 GB ram
  • Lenovo graphic card driver AMD VGA DRIVER 15.201.1101
  • AMD drivers tried : 16.7.3 , 16.4.2 , 16.12.2 , 16.8.3

Also, twice after driver installations hard-drive corrupted and windows self repaired it.

Any help would be appreciated,thanks.
