various games from v17.4.1, including v17.4.2, in virtual resolution (2560x1440) no longer work.
not only that but if you have a GIGABYTE Radeon RX 460 WINDFORCE OC 4GB GV-RX460WF2OC-4GD like I do and you go to install the drivers near the end of the installation the screen goes all funky looking with multiple lines of different colors going across the screen almost like it messed up your OS or something. It almost caused me to have a fit after seeing it but it seems to have disappeared after the installation finished which was 45-50 seconds later. I'm not sure if it'll happen to others but if it does do not panic over it, it will go away and the installation will finish.
I have the same problem. VSR doesn't work. I reverted back to 17.3.1 now it works fine. (Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+)
Same here creators update 17.4.2 but also on 17.4.1 some games work some don't.
I think the problem is in HDCP, currently with v17.3.1 is disabled. In the current versions (17.4.1, 17.4.2) the status becomes active.
-Windows 10 x64 LTSB
-Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ 8GB
Some games with the problem mentioned:
-Tom Clancy's The Division
Same problem here.
with RX480 8G v17.4.1 and v17.4.2, VSR hasn't work on several games like GTAV, Tomb Raider, ROTTR.
The Witcher 3 too...
Interesting I have my 27" monitor as my primary 1080p and my 55" 4k tv as my secondary enabled clone in radeon settings vsr and gpu scaling on my primary monitor only and now i can select all the way up to 3840 x 2160 in anything like normal. If i unplug hdmi from port 2 on my msi rx 480 gaming x 8g then vsr will no longer work... on creators update and 17.4.2 BTW
