HDMI Audio Device Missing after update to Windows 10 build 1703

    imneo88

The AMD High Definition Audio device for sound output from ANY of the video card outputs, is now gone after updating to Windows 10 build 1703

Display adapter is: XFX Radeon R9-270 ( 200 series ), and I've tried 4 different versions of the driver, even tried reinstalling the latest of every mainboard driver..

Still NOTHING. The device is completely missing in Windows Device Manager. The closest thing I can find to Windows recognizing that that device was EVER installed and working on this system is when I click "Show Hidden Devices" in Device Manager and it shows up in that list.. giving the following under "Device Status:"

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

And that's all the info I have. It worked perfectly, up to and until updating to Build 1703 of Windows 10.
