    HD7970 crossfire not working

    jisifus

Hey folks. I'm having some issues with my crossfire setup and was hoping you could provide some help.

Here is my ppp list to get any spec-related follow-up questions out of the way.

      Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core, Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB (2-Way CrossFire), Eleven Hundred V2 ATX Mid Tower - Syst…

Basically, Windows tells me in every possible way that there are two fully functional GPUs installed.

Despite all of these indicators, I am unable to use crossfire.

I've also monitored clock speeds and fan speeds when playing a game that supports crossfire. The 2nd GPU is not working at all.

I've installed two crossfire bridges as according to my motherboard's manual. They are also inserted the right way around.

I hope anyone has an idea what's wrong.

          Did you get this working?
Your driver Global Settings should have a crossfire on/off button and Crossfire Logo on/off button.
Try uninstall driver, reboot,  run amdcleanuputility. reboot. Install latest driver, reboot.

Are you sure your second card is not dead?
Why two crossfire bridges for 2 cards?
          Which game did you test?

          Thanks.
