I set the display output on my laptop to a mode not supported by my TV.

I currently have a laptop with onboard AMD Graphichs (Radeon 8460, i think) as a media center in my living room, set to display picture only on "Display 2", which is my flat screen TV. I accidentally forced it to show desktop area in 1080p, which my TV doesn't support, and I am not able to change it as I don't get any picture on my TV. When enabling the laptop monitor again I get picture, but as soon as I close the lid, it assumes that only Display 2 is active, and it goes back to 1080p and the picture is gone. Anyone knows how to fix this? Uninstall the AMD-drivers and install it again, or is there an easier way?

All help appreciated!
