R9 390X displayport flickering on 4k screen win10

Question asked by mike79 on Apr 8, 2017

Hello
in the last 4 updates on Grimson relive/vulkan, i have encountered some annoying behavior when , using display port and using 4k screen.
all the time when using browser or software, it somehow restart connection to display port.
I reinstalled several times but no luck.

Now i narrowed it down to that it somehow connected to the scaling option in win10 where you can scale desktop upto 350 %

when using no scale 100% there is no flicker or restart of the connection, but on every other scale options there is when hell begins.
here you see how it restarts or looses the connection

it does that with all programs and browsers.

little update
it only does it also after some test with display port 1,2
it do not do it with display port 1,1, but you cant get full UHD 4k with driver 1,1
