Ryzen memory setting

Just a fyi to share . I am using G.Skill 32GB (2x16G) F4-300014D-32GVK DDR4-3000 Ripjaws V. I was stuck to get it work on higher speed, like setting it at XMP with clocking it at 2933mhz as it was a double sided and it can't run it based on the memory guide, so copy the 14-14-14-34 1.35v setting and create a 2400mhz profile. No go will not boot or wait the bios on Asrock AB350 Pro4 to reset it self to default setting rather than opening case for a manual reset.


What worked was set it back to XMP and set the clock to 2666 mhz. All good, benefits multicore not so much on single core performance. Happy now AMD Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3192.38 MHz - CPU-Z VALIDATOR
