    Guild Wars 2

    atrophos

      Hello mates! I used to play Guild Wars 2 but gave up because of potato graphs and too much fps changes 10-30(low/medium customized). This was all before Crimson driver. Should I download and try again? Need at least 30+ stable fps... But I guess this isn't possible with this specs;

      CPU: i7-5500U 2.4GHz 4 Core

      GPU: R7 M260

      RAM: 8GB
      And if not, why? What's the bottleneck and what makes GW so diverse from WoW because I could play Cataclysm and MoP with 60 stable fps on medium. Any advanced idea is welcome.
      Thanks and good day!

          Because Guild Wars 2 uses a modified Guild Wars 1 engine, is coded like garbage, and is extremely CPU dependent whereas WoW is more GPU and RAM dependent. I play it, and even at 960x1200 (playing split screen) with my Fury Nano at 1035/500 and FX-8350 at 4.6ghz, I struggle to get 30 with drops to 15 or even 8 during world events.
