I was working on my PC and was trying to get an LED strip into place. While doing this I dropped the LED strip and it hit the graphics card. The LED strip is coated in rubber and it didn't hit it very hard but it made a small popping sound. I do not know what this did or even if it was the direct cause for my graphics card breaking. After this my screen went black and the card is still not working. I tried using the card in my friend's PC and it did not work there either. I know the graphics card is the only issue because the on board graphics work fine along with everything else. I tested the power from the power supply and they both work fine and still power the fan on the graphics card. The card is a Raedon R9 270x 2gb model. If anyone has any suggestions or knows what is wrong any help would be greatly appreciated.
If the card does not work in another system as well, it pretty much confirms that the card is the issue. Nothing more can be done other than you exploring your warranty options, if any.
