XFX Radeon RX 460 causes Windows 10 crash

Question asked by ndmonkey on Mar 30, 2017

I have a rather weird issue that has stumped me for a few weeks.  This is a brand new build.  The specs:

XFX Radeon RX 460 True OC DirectX 12 RX-460P2SFG5 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0

Avexir Core Series 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200)

Intel Core i3-6100 3M 3.7 GHz

MSI H110M ECO LGA 1151 Intel H110
SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

The issue:

This is a brand new build.  I noticed that when I boot into Windows after installing the graphic drivers, after about 1 minute, it will reboot on its own.  When I manage to look quick at event viewer, it's stating that the Radeon drivers caused a bluescreen in Windows.  I've updated the bios to the latest version, just in case there was an issue with the motherboard.  Still the same issue.  I'm at a total loss as to what is causing this new build to crash out like it is.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.
