I Recently built a Ryzen 1700 system. When I was through with all my installation my core temperatures are running between 60 and 64 degrees Celsius at idle. I'm using the included wraith RGB cooler I was just wondering if this was normal or not?
HI there I have the same "problem", in the BIOS (MSI Thomahak Ryzen 1700) , my Temps arrives to 66 Degrees.
My option was put all fans to full (the Bios have an option for do this) and now I have my CPU about 48 Degrees, I think this is a normal temp, but I'm not sure.
I hope someone clearify about this high temps. Thanks.
PS: Sorry for my bad English.
Just built my R7 1700 today. What monitoring program are you using? I am on High Performance Power option and idles at 27 celcius. Using a BeQuiet Pure Rock.
Seems toasty. I would recommend documenting all your findings on a daily basis if you have to. It well help you find a medium. I'm running the 1800X and still notice interesting temperature reporting. Between HW Monitor, BIOS temps, Speed Fan, and AsRock F-Stream utility, they all report differently. Even with the 20 degree offset. The Ryzen master software also does report different. I know this is a 1700 thread but just wanted to share. I would expect a much smoother experience once a few BIOS updates start pushing through. Depending on your MOBO, try tweaking your CPU fan settings, or other settings, document and compare. Disable C6, Cool & quiet and see what that does. If you are still seeing something not right, maybe email the motherboard manufacturer and open up a support ticket. Best of luck to you on your Ryzen adventures!
