CS GO having problem while AMD Radeon Settings running in the background

Question asked by amdsy3d on Mar 25, 2017

So since ReLive 17.1.X, everytime I run CS:GO and try to play a match, the screen flickers (not sure if the right word) back and forth between the desktop and CSGO. This starts happening everytime a map is loading and after the map is loaded. The only workaround I have found is to kill AMD Radeon Settings in task manager. I've uninstalled and done a clean install, but no luck. After I close CS GO (in the middle of my match because impossible to play), I get a message that says "Default Radeon WattMan settings have been restored due to an unexpected system failure." See video and picture below (labelled with Profile Enabled). When I go into settings for Radeon, it shows that the graphics profile for CS GO has been disabled. Even after the graphics profile, the same thing happens but this time I don't get a message. (See video labelled WITHOUT Profile Enabled). This time in this video, you can hear it trying to get back to CS GO (at the end of video). What can I do...
