Amd sent me a press kit containing the Ryzen 7 1800x, MSI Titanium X370 & 16gb of Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000mhz RAM and I built this system you see here.  I added 2 of the XFX GTR BLACK EDITION 8gb RX480s and an additional 16gb of Corsair Vengence LPX 3000mhz RAM.   Even though I was sent this by AMD, all my thoughts and opinions are mine & 100% honest and true.

This pc is a powerhouse.  When rendering 1080p 60fps uncompressed video its about a 1:1 ratio. Rendering a 10 minute video on Sony Platinum 13 takes 10mins. That same video on the FX-8370 would take 30mins.  Gaming performance on the Ryzen 7 1800x is amazingly smooth as well too.  Don't let the internet lie to you, gaming at 1080p on the Ryzen series is AMAZING when it comes to gaming.  Games such as H1Z1 stay well above 60fps and is smooth as silk.

The Ryzen 7 1800x stays cool while gaming as well!  I have yet to see it break 45c while under gaming load.  The motherboard display shows 65c but there is a 20c offset in the temps reported by Ryzen 1700x and 1800x so if you subtract the 20c, it puts it at 45c.  THAT'S AWESOME if you ask me!     I'll be posting more benchmarks as I put this system through the wringer.

I included 2 pictures of Unegine Heaven Benchmarks,  one from the FX-8370 with a Fury X, and one from the Ryzen 7 1800x with Dual 480s.   I will be posting comparison photos of the FX8370 with 1 XFX GTR 480 vs Ryzen 7 1800x with 1 XFX GTR 480 to show how much of a jump the Ryzen series is over the FX series.

Thanks again to AMD for providing the Ryzen 7 1800x press kit.
