    R9 390 Nitro freezing/black screen

I built my rig back in June of last year but have been encountering issues within the past few months, the issue is that during playing my games (some not all, will provide a list below) my PC will just completely freeze, this happens at random times and can't be reproduced at will i have to hard reset my PC in order to use it again, i also get freezes where my screen will freeze for a second or two, i will then get a blank screen followed by a no signal notification on my monitor.

Games it happens on are as followed, Battlefield 1 (no matter what  graphical settings i have selected) Witcher 3 (also no matter what settings i have it on) Rainbow 6 siege (was during a free trial that steam had on so no longer able to test) and as of today Mass Effect Andromeda trial, however my most played game which is Warframe has never had this issue.

I have no overclocked my GPU or played with any of the settings since i first bought it, i have tried multiple different driver versions all without luck, i have not encountered any artifacting while gaming or running any benchmarking programs, i have also not crashed or froze when benchmarking.

My system specs are as followed.

      CPU i5 6500 @ 3.20GHz

      GPU Sapphire R9 390 Nitro 8GB (Driver 17.2.1)

16GB DDR4 RAM Dual Channel (4x4GB HyperX @ 1066MHz (14-14-14-35) Have ran Windows memory diagnostic and no problems were found.

      MOBO ASRock  H170A-X1/3.1

OS Windows 10 Pro 64bit  (fully up to date)

      PSU EVGA 600W white 80+

I have cleaned the GPU and my temps during the effected games range between 60-70, my CPU temps rarely reach 60 degrees Celsius.

I have tried to diagnose the issue myself but to no avail, any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have sent a support ticket to sapphire but i doubt i will get a reply anytime soon.
