Me pc Athlon X4 870 with cooler CPU SilentiumPC Spartan 3 LT and motherboard MSI A88XM-E35 V2 A88X .
The difference between the temperature of the CPU and its core. Motherboard MSI and bios shows 63C and SpeedFan ( TEMP 1 ) and AMD overDriver , SpeeedFAN ( CORE) shows the core temperature 47C. Which reading is correct? On the motherboard CPU/ bios or core ( AMD Overdrive) ? This is normal?
A week ago, was mentioned cooler.
Test stability lasted 1 hour.
I would be grateful for your response. Regards
I think 47C is your CPU core temperature and 63C can be a CPU package (sensor near CPU socket) temperature which is always higher than core temp about 10 C. HWinfo can be wrong regarding CPU package reading.
