Second Monitor stuck at 800x600?

So I have a dual monitor setup, one connected using VGA and the other connected through Display Port. They both have been working fine until today where my monitor connected through the Display Port just got stuck at 800x600 resolution therefore I'm getting a black screen on that monitor. When I try to change it through my other monitor it won't let me as it's grayed out. I connected the monitor through HDMI and it went back to the normal resolution (1920x1080) but it was at 60hz and no option for 144hz (144hz monitor). I'm operating on Windows 10 and my GPU is an R7 260x. I'm completely clueless as to what the problem is because the monitor was working fine before with the Display Port cable at 1920x1080 with 144hz but now it gets stuck at 800x600?

Things I have already done that didn't help

- I reinstalled windows

- Changed the Display Port cable

- Updated my display drivers

- Uninstalled drivers, restarted PC and re-installed drivers

- NO option to roll back drivers as I was trying to give that a shot

If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know, it will be greatly appreciated
