I didn't have this problem on previous drivers at all. Mouse's cursor becomes black square (windows 10 64). Do you have any ways to solve? (except using magnifying glass or rebooting PC)
We hope to have a fix available for this bug in a future driver update, stay tuned.
It was an existing bug in earlier drivers and had been fixed in one of the late drivers in 2016. It reappeared in v17.1.x or v17.2.x (i'm not sure). Until further response I suggest you to use the driver v16.12.2 as it seems to be the latest driver without this issue.
As far as I remember it is related with Firefox and multiple monitors.
I use Windows 7, Just a Thought here, but does refreshing the desktop do anything?
No. Using the magnifier can help or a system restart. Rather annoying bug, but the long interval of existence and the reappearance of this bug raise questions about the QA team.
When i got the RX 480 last year this bug was a really nasty thing. Then i installed 17.1.2 (from 25 january) and the bug didnt occured until yesterday when i updated to the recent 17.2.x : it appeared again after 10-20 minutes .
So i will keep the 17.1.2 until it gets fixed , or maybe appear again and again in future driver versions.
im still getting this problem with the latest drivers, especially when playing company of heroes 2. It isn't specific to the game as it will happen random times but every single time i play coh2 it happens.
like everyone else states, the cursor only distorts on my second monitor but looks fine on my second one.
Its been like three months. you guys fixing this or what?
I have the same problem on Windows 10 Pro, latest Insider build, 17.2.1, but only on my primary monitor. When I move the cursor to the secondary screen, everything works as it is supposed to again.
Same here. Cannot see the cursor in some games. Appears without fail a few minutes after reboot.
Is the bug fixed in 17.4.x? Due to driver problems with my RX480 I have to use 17.2 or rather 17.3.x. Currently running on 17.3.1 I only get this problem on my main monitor, not on the others. Very annoying because I can't fix this with getting into standby and back, which was my fix for the old graphic card and previews drivers, because the BIOS is too buggy actually.
The bug doesnt occure on 17.6.2 .Tested it for a couple of days.
Actually i was going to test 17.4.x first, but i couldnt launch the game "Battlefield 1 " with it. 17.6.2 didnt show any problems
