Long story short: will a new RX 460 2GB GDDR5 graphics card work in an older ASRock P55 motherboard, the last bios update for it was 2011. Board supports Pci-e 2.0 and  I know Pci-e is backwards compatible, so a 3.0 version card should work no problem in 2.0 slot board.  But I am not sure about the board bios for some reason.  Any insight into this before I buy?

I plan on upgrading the board and chip when all the AM4 / Ryzen dust has settled but need a card update now.
