I've now been all over the internet trying to figure this out and I'm kinda new to this so I gotta ask.
My pc keeps shutting down occasionally due to (what I think) is the fan on my motherboard not spinning at all. It reaches temperatures upto 70 degrees and the fan is still not spinning.
I have a Radeon R7 260x XFX With a single 6 slot input. I have read that this can be due to my processor as well (I have no idea), but anyway any tips or any program I can use to manually control my GPU fan?
I also run a 256G SSD Drive With 4GB RAM and it should be enough power in there to run a game and be on internet though for some reason Windows is honking tons of RAM for some reason, I don't know if that has anything to do with it?
Also I got the AMD Catalyst Control Center thingy with my SSD Drive, but somehow I can't find anymore. I used to be able to control the glocking etc before that might help the case
When you say the 'fan on my motherboard not spinning' I'm assuming your CPU fan is not working.
Clear the fan out of any dust, etc, and if the problem continues, I would suggest you install a replacement CPU cooler.
