As stated above I'm getting a trojan once in a while when I update my Radeon driver. I have one now with latest update. Why is this happening? I've tried removing them myself, but it doesn't let me and I must have Nortons do it for me.
All our drivers are validated against multiple anti virus software packages.
You either have an infected system or Norton is reporting a false positive. I would suggest you report this to Norton.
Ray, thanks. But this isn't the first time. Also when I upgrade I say to skip Relive but it downloads it anyway, or at least it's in the file. I can find the trojan and it has a AMD coding on it, so where else would it come from. I delete it and it simply pops back in. Could Nortons be seeing it as a problem because when I run my Power Eraser Relive always pops up and I remove it. Last time Nortons told me to becarfu with your updates. that I shouldn't update when it pops from the side bar but go to the site instead. Any other thoughts?
From where I am it looks like you have a local system issue, an existing trojan infection or Norton signatures are out of date. Considering each driver has several hundred thousand downloads, this would inundate our forums if it was a genuine issue.
Norton is notorious. If you are downloading from the AMD site, disable the anti-virus suite or put a exception in Norton for AMD.
Post a screenshot if you can of the trojans.
It shows up as a b3d7.temp file.
I don't use Norton but found this with a few seconds search. Hope it points you in the right direction.

Thank you everyone, I got it fixed last night. It did turn out to be a network problem and it was both malware and spyware. Norton's couldn't fix it on their end we had to go to a third tech to go deeper into my computer. Whoever it was actually got into my administrator account! They said that it probably came up as an alert on Norton's when I updated my graphics because it activated the malware. Thanks again all!
