When you install getting error. Radeon RX 470 driver dont support Windows 8 x86 platforms.
I use only Windows 32-bit platforms (using outdated 16-bit Windows applications).
Where to download a working driver for RX 470?
Unfortunately, all our current products are only designed to support 64 bit operating systems.
Additionally, Windows 8 is not supported.
You can upgrade your windows 8 to windows 8.1 for free and use the latest AMD driver https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15288/windows-8-update-to-windows-8-1
You can even upgrade it to windows 10 if you want, but for old applications windows 8.1 will be more appropriate
I download the free update from the Windows Store and have installed Windows 8.1 x86.
The problem is not solved. This driver dont support Windows 8.1.
Where to download a working driver for RX 470 (Windows 8.1 x86)?
NONE of our current products are designed to support 32 Bit Operating systems.
Microsoft has already stopped support 32 Bit Operating systems?
Windows 8.1 x86 (Windows 10 x86) already does not exist?
My earlier post already clearly stated that current products DO NOT support 32 bit operating systems.
The limitations in memory size make it unsuitable for high end graphics products.
Even NVidia Titan X (pascal) 12GB has drivers for 32 bit Windows systems.
AMD should let customers to decide what is suitable for them.
I can only comment on what AMD does. We are not dictating what users need to do, but we are clear about which products support 32 Bit OS's and which don't.
NVidia GTX 950, NVidia GTX 1050 and NVidia Titan X has drivers for 32-bit Windows platforms.
AMD does not support newer 32 bits OS. This delirium!!!
I have already answered your question. There is no more information I can provide to address your issue.
